I created illustrations for the Czech National Technical Museum's game presented at EXPO 2022 in Dubai
Studio Krutart makes beautiful things and I was excited to accept their offer to illustrate a game for the Czech National Technical Museum, which later became part of the Czech exposition at EXPO 2022 in Dubai. The game used two screens, one interactive and one for storytelling. My task was to create about 50 story illustrations and 50 vector illustrations for the interactive part.
What does art director Filip say about my work?
I collaborated with Tom on a roughly six-month project for the presentation of the National Technical Museum at Expo 2020 in Dubai. During that time I learned that Tom is not only a talented illustrator, but also a very reliable and meticulous person who tries to elevate every idea in the brief. I enjoy his eye for composition and colour and I really appreciate his willingness to study things thoroughly first and then draw. The Expo show turned out great thanks to him as well and I look forward to working with him again.
